New One - Help!!

RE: New One - Help!!
Thanks for all the tips so far. I will definitely change the soap i use - I will wash it tomorrow. Any suggestions on this? - I currently used Meguiar's Gold Class Shampoo and Conditioner (Orange color in clear bottle - very fragrant) I also will see if the baits and gel work. Will also spray the perimeter with repelent. Looks like raint today - don't know how that will factor in...
Thank you again - i will update what happens.

RE: New One - Help!!
Fellow Floridian here. I have had the same issue with ants on the outside of the car, never making it in. From my experience, it is from the rain we have been having. Central florida here, we have a few weeks of good rains on and off. They won't drown, so they have to run to higher ground. Some we kind of have to live with I guess. Haven't noticed them lately though. I moved to a different parking spot and also cut the grass down lower than normal where my car was sitting.

it's not the soap! Unless you aren't rinsing it off!
The problem is increased by all the little canyons on our cars. Take a look at how they can hide in the little valley around the windshield, the rear window, etc.
You'll probably have to get a high pressure nozzle and hose off the car thoroughly. Driving 100mph won't work! I tried it!
Then use traps, poison, cinnamon, whatever to kill the stragglers.
