Did anyone here use the FRPP Hood Pins ????. If so can you post a pic showing where they were mounted under the Hood.

Got drilled ones here. Took about 2 hours to install because I kept remeasuring everything over and over to make sure I don't make a hole were I'm not supposed to. Got them because everyday on the way to and from work I go over 100 sometimes up to 140 and I'm worried about losing myhood.[&:]
P.S. Adhesive ones DON'T work.
Thats why I got them....the first time I went over 110, I saw the hood shaking like crazy!!! I have been "assured" that the hood wont open, but for $20, the hood is solid a a rock now!

BTW, I spent about 3 hours installing mine...would have taken 20 mins, but it is nerveracking drilling into the hood!

ALWAYS drill up!!!

I still like these.

http://www.deftracing.com/aerocatch_hood_pins/index.htm

However it lacks the classic look of the wires.

Why waste money on a fake mod even if you dont think you would ever need them, you might and then you have the functional ones there to save you.....It wouldbe funny if somebody went to raise your hood (and you had fake ones) and they forget the hood pins where on there and they just ripped them off.....I would ROFL
