Just got my 2007 GT new it has about 1200 miles on it and dont get me wring I love it has exhaust new spoiler and some nice 18"s with some 275s and 245s, but theres just something about the 2003 cobras that really make me want one. Saw one for sale with about 50,000 miles for $17,000 it has some new rims xpipe, cat back exhaust, some supercharger and engine upgrades, lowered and it sounds F'N AMAZING! My car sounds good but this one sounds crazy, cant get over it. Is it me or do the 2001-2004s just sound better with exhaust? Well I got some serious thinking to do mostly depends on what I can get for my 07. Anyone intrested in a slightly used silver stang? just kiddin...[sm=headbang.gif]

Well, I do admit that the Terminators are very appealing and will be collectors items before they start to rust.
So I say, go get one.

There's just something about the richness of the exhaust tones that you get from a mid-muffler exhaust like the 99-04's have. I was disappointed when I found out you couldn't get that type of exhaust for the S197...except now there is the Pypes mid-muffler system, which seems to sound great. (Haven't heard it in person)

That's the lowest price I've heard so far on a Cobra that year with such a low mileage. I think 03-04 do sound badass, those are the ones that came out supercharged. As for 01-02 they don't sound that good and have the same engine as 03 Mach 1.

you better drive it first, they certainly aren't as refined as the 05+... and the shifter location is worse than driving a 5 speed Ranger.

the sound does make you melt though.
