Isn't this basically a resonator? I had a resonator installed in the same place to de-drone my MAC. I know other's with dual MACs have done the some thing with great success. Nice deep tone without the horrible drone that MACs have.
I was interested to see what a mid resonator would sound like by itself.. but the guy who installed it welded my MAC on without telling me.

Just had 14" SS Magnapacks put on the otherday....mid muffler style. I had straight thru pipes on the car with tips, and it was too raw sounding ...not refined so to speak. Now I love the sound. It is deep now, what a stang is supposed to sound like. Couldn't be happier.

Sorry for the delay guys. I got a "1" clip done tonight. Kind of lame but it gives a general idea of the sound. After I got the mufflers installed, the "over the axle pipe" was clanking on the underside of the car. I've messed with it quite a bit this weekendand think I got it resolved now.

I heard it too, and as 06ELNR said, your look was hilarious. You just left your door open and boned out. Id like to hear a better clip when you get a chance. My friend has a o/r x with JBA's and its pretty loud. Im sure he would like to tone it down a bit but still have that deep rumbly sound we all love.
