Hell NO. Sometimes mien will lock up and not play anything. Won't turn on and sometimes the screen even goes out. Of course Ford can't replicate the problem so there's ongetting it replaced under warranty.

never had a problem with mine, only have 1900 miles, and I usually listen to sirius, but I also use the cd player. It only didn't read a cd once, and I merely popped that cd back in and it worked no problem.

Mine has worked perfectly so far (approx 3,000 mi) and I'm always listening to the radio or CDs (both store bought audio CDs and MP3 discs burned at home). Switching between CDs isn't the fastest thing in the world, but it's on par (if not faster than) the 6-disc changer I have in my Xterra.
