As far as the rubber false bottom in the rear cupholder, there was a thread about that a few months back about 2 months after I bought my Stang. I had said "No way!" and went out and was suprised to see it. It helps when I have my travel mug in there and keeps it from being as much as a pain when I'm shifting, what with the mug being lower.

That could be caused by condensation(sp) from the water bottles. I had the same thing happen to me twice now. The first time I was left scratching my head but after thinking about it, it kinda made sense. On a hot day, a cold bottle or can leaks like it has a hole in it. Anything that gets under that false bottom just gets trapped and no air gets to it to help it evaporate. I check it all the time now...
