Code on computer in engine bay must match the tune loaded into the tuner! They have to match or you car no startie!

I thought the Xcalibrator would download the Ford tune, so it has to know the correct code, right? How can that go awry and how can I avoid that happening?

It will download the factory tune but your codes on the computer must match the tuner! Just make sure you give your computer code when ordering and all should be ok! The only way the code would not match is if ford has reflashed your computer for some reason, giving it a different computer code.

Nope. No longer necessary, even though the directions say to do it....
