I paid $1100 for mine brand new on EBAY, same as above seller.

P.S. You need a 10 inch wide rim for them to fit. 9s or 9.5s won't do. I have Roush 18X10 rims.

The Shelby brakes stop great but the brake dust they produce is a real pain. One small drive for ten minutes and the car is covered.

5/8 is fine but it is completly useless to upgrade to GT500 breaks, your setup will not fade unless you have over 500hp
I beg to differ! I did a little rough riding on my GT and experienced brake fade while coming down the freeway offramp!
These are not up to the performance of the engine. Maybe braided brake lines would help too?

YES big time dust from the steel pads, will replace with ceramic pads in the future.

You do not need 10 inch wide rimto run the Brembo GT500BigBrake kit [:'(].

You just need the right offsetwith ahigh padto run them (so there is enough space to clear the caliper).

Iwas running a high pad20x8.5 +39 offset andthe rimcleared my Brembo's just fine (see pic below).

I'm now running a high pad 20x9.5 +32 offsetand the rims stillclear fine( I wanted more lip).

If you are currently running a medium or low pad center you couldtry a 5mm or 10mmspacer (just make sure the spacer is hub centric).

A spacermay give you enough room to clear the caliper .

If not you mayhave to buy a new set of rims with a high pad andwith abetteroffset [&:].

What do you mean by "high pad," "low pad," etc.?
