Its silly to try and a buddies car. All they will do is spend more money and beat you back. All these little battles faught for a never ending war.

If you've got the money for it, go right ahead. My thing is if OP really wants to beat him, they should just buy a supercharger and whoop the crap out of the c5. If they're trying to buy just enough to beat him, then they probably don't have a lot of disposable income and won't be able to afford to upgrade the car more once the c5 does some modding.

 

C-5 vettes are nothing. I beat them on motor all day with basic bolt ons. You should have no problem.

On spray im right there with a new STOCK Z06, and pull the C-6 pretty hard.

You reallly dont have to spend too much $$$ to beat him, just depends on how much you want to beat him by.

 

Ive raced a c-5 that has a high stall converter and a procharger pushing 8 lbs, exhaust and a couple other mods that I dont remember as well as slicks and beat him by 3 tenths. most of your common mods as well as a stall converter you should be able to take him, that is if you have enough tire to hook up
