Default RE: Procharging

I had a P1SC Procharger at 10 lbs. Great system...zero issues at 480 rwhp with upgraded fuel system which I would think you will need for 500+ rwhp. I have a stroker MMR950 block being built and won't touch the boost controller, or go back to the track, until the block is installed. Mine's a daily driver but I only go veryshort distances in light traffic. The race tranny with hi-stall TC is notideal for normal daily use in city traffic. In my experience the more aggressive the mods, the less user-friendly the daily ride.

It may be overkill...don't know. Some folks wait till something breaks and then replace. I decided to beef everything up first, to handle extreme torque and repeated hard biting launches on slicks with a transbrake. In fact, I'm sending tranny (rated at 800 hp) back for an upgrade while block is being installed. It's all theory for me though. Learning as I go. It is my DD but my present ride to work is only 2-3 miles and from January being moved to a new facility 0.6 miles from my front door. Just blind luck in that regard.

I have to ask.. what would be an ideal amount of boost for stock internals? I mean, not for straight line led footing, but more for a little fun on a road track.
