Default 18" GT40 Black Wheels

Thinking about buying theseto replace my 20s. ($700 for the set including shipping).

18x9 front, 18x10 rear.

Can I go wider than 255 front and 295 rear without rubbing? I also want the tires to look flush with the wheels.

I have 245/45's up front and 295/45's out back. I don't think you can go wider without losing the flush look, but I think you could get away with 305's on the back rims. I don't know why people want extra-wide tires up front - it will actually make handling worse as it will want to grab imperfections in the road more causing directional instability.

Not sure - they're typical I'd say, nothing special.

I was on the verge of buying these until I found my rims. I've got 255s up front and they track everywhere!

Good choice, I think they will look great with your black stang...

My Nitto 255/45/18's steer straight as hell. You're not running Nittos are you?

I love those wheels.

I am supercharging first but and torn between these two.

Back on topic I am actually leaning toward the Shelby's because there are 18x9.5 and I can run 275's all around and rotate them.

Staggered sizes and unidirectional tires are a pain if the car is a DD. If its a toy it doesnt matter. Had staggered on my last stang and it was annoying. I changed 2 rears to every front and the front wore different left to right no matter what I with the CC plates.

I have then in chrome...with 255 front and 285 rear...you can go bigger if you wish..i know a guy running 275 front and 305 rear...on these wheels..

I love them and they are flush with the fender with a perfect look imo...38mm and 42 mm offsets..
