I got the pony version of that leather armrest from mossmustangs. Its great but get somebody that knows how to do this to install it.
I really like the look of this! Looking at their website, that's a great buy!

The prices of the covers are too high... I'm liking the price of the shelby one, but really don't want anything saying "shelby" in my car... If somebody finds a plain leather cover for that price please post it!

-Jeff
Jeff, the materials themselves are pretty expensive. Especially if you are talking about real leather. The leatherette stuff is less expensive, that's why the cover from redline is so much less than the real leather one from Moss. I was going to have a local shop make me a cover and a leatherette was going to cost $100. It all depends on what you really want and why you want it. If you go too cheap you'll get what you pay for and might wish you hadn't spent that money at all. I want it to match my seats better and they are real leather. I think the closest to plain that I saw at that price is the one that just says Mustang with the pony posted above. -Joe

Well my arm rest just came in from Moss! Now I see why it was a little more expensive. Not only is it very nice leather but they send you a whole new arm rest, they do the covering work. I think most places send you a skin and expect you to put the skin on the stock armrest. This thing is fantastic! I'm VERY happy with the purchase. -Joe

you're talking about this one right?:

How did they do the release button? Is it covered in leather too? Or does the leather stop at the button, and the button is the same plastic?

Yes, that's the one. Notice in the picture this arm rest looks a little bigger than the stock. What they do is this is fit over the top of the stock arm rest, then you remove the 4 screws from the bottom of the stock arm rest and put their supplied screws in which attaches it. -Joe

the one from Moss looks good, but I like the 2-tone one best!

Too bad I'm not doing any more modding for a while... my wallet keeps jumping up onto my desk! "Down Boy, DOWN!"
