Are these functional with the 3M tape? I know that the tape is strong but can it hold a hood down under full speed? oh and how the heck do they work? Is the pin lanyard that goes around the hood just glued up to the top of the hood at the bottom of the pin or does it attach to the body somewhere?

Just asking cuz wouldnt it look gay if you rolled up and poped ur hood and the pins and lanyards just went up with the hood? Just askin lemme know.

Yeah, I think thats how it works basically otherwise you wouldnt be able to open the hood...
