The rear of our cars areSO strong. I got rear-ended at 35-40 mph also, LuckilyI saw it coming so I had time to put the brakes to the floor and was not pushed into the car in front of me. The little car that hit me was totalled.

So sorry about that though man that really sucks! Especially that horrible feeling in your stomach... yeah you know what im talking about. I see that distraught look on your face, that is a hard blow 40 mph from behind! [:@]Ouch!

Good luck with the repairs and get that head checked out. You could always sue the stupid girl that hit you and maybe get some mods out of it!

That sucks man.
On another note, it pains me to see everyone telling you to sue the **** out of her. She should definitely get a ticket and probably lose her license for a while.Obviously she shouldalso pay for your car and medical expenses and any other expenses you incur due to the accident but it's disheartening that people would use an unfortunate accident as a potential financial windfall. We've all made mistakes (maybe not as stupid as this girls, but that's besides the point.) Good luck with everything.

The only way I would sue her is if she didn't have any insurance. Other than that, I'm sure shes going to have it bad enough as it is. If you're going to try to get money out of someone, get money from people who have more than enough to go around, the insurance companies.
