I want to hold back on engine mods for a while when I get my new stang and want to work on suspension.What mods are out there for the 05,and which mods should I do? Lowering springs,subframe connectors,diff. shocks..etc...? Its my daily driver so I dont want it like a tuned drag car,but do want to get better than stock for beter "Planting".Also does anyone know what the widest rim for the rear of th 05 GT is? I want theese deepdish bullits(10.5 inches wide) for the rear with some fatter meats on the rear.I also want the suspension more tuned for cornering and shuch,so what do you guys say?

Welcome to the forums. I have been asking the same questions as a new 05 GT owner. I even stopped at the Kenny Brown racing shop in Speedway In, last week to check it out. Most companies are developing produces as we speak. Strut tower braces, etc. I saw a few adds in 5.0 magazine, and MM and FF mag., I won't plug them here, but grab a copy and make some calls.

look on the company web sites they usually have someplace where you can see if they are looking for that model car in your area for a test car, they will do all the work and such all you have to do is let them do it to your car and give them your opnion on how it workes out. Plus you get to keep everything that they do to your car for free!! might be worth looking into.
