Default Rattle in passenger seat

There is an obnoxious rattle in the passengers seat over almost any small bumps in the road. Only happens when the seat lacks a passenger.
[align=left] Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if it is easy to remedy. Has anyone ever taken the seat apart? If so, is it a pain?

Default RE: Rattle in passenger seat

I had the same problem. Check under the seat and you'll find a plastic casing. (I think it must be the sensor that detects a passenger in the seat) It is held in place with a metal bracket. If the bracket is loose, the sensor casing rattles in the bracket. I bent the tabs on the bracket a little tighter and the rattlewent away. I didn't have to remove the seat to do it. The bracket/sensor I am talking about is located near the very front of the seat.

These instructions will make more sense when you look under the seat.

Hope this helps
