How to Fix Headlight Switch Rattle?

I have a rattle that's driving me nuts... I finally found it's coming from the plastic cover that surrounds the headlight switch. Anyone else? How did you fix it? How do you remove that panel without breaking it?

Oh my God I have the same rattle! It drives me insane! I was trying to figure out what was causing it today and I narrowed it down to the headlight switch area but couldn't figure out exactly where or how to fix it.

That's pretty much where I'm at too. I've got an autocross today, so I probably won't have any time to look into it any further. Anyone else fix this one yet?

That panel that hold the switches pops right off, just use a flat screwdriver or the trusty butterknife. Mine doesn't rattle at all. Maybe yours is loose? Does it sit flush with the dash?

Mine sits flush, but it's slightly loose (hence the rattle). It feels pretty much like the panel behind the door handle. If you push on it, you can move it ever so slightly back and forth even though it's fully snapped in place.

is it all the time or only when they are on?

I'll have to look into it - my drive to/from work is normally w/ lights off (before we shifted the clocks), so I normally heard it w/ lights off. I don't think there's a difference, but I'll pay more attention.
