Twin screw of Centrifugal
Probably going to boost the car sometime soon. I'm hearing different opinions from different people on what type of blower. Some guys like the TS's and some like the centrifugals ......which one do you guys think is better and which brand? which one is safest for a stock motor?

yah i am wondering what kinda SC or Turbo to get on mine. I like the procharger serpentshrine kit with the F-1A SC but its gonna take some work to get my engine ready for that big boy. Lets say your shooting for 700 - 800 RWHP for a 10 second daily driver that isnt "completely" impractical what would yall recommend.

Twin screws respond rightaway and you get the power everywhere.
Centris need more revs, feels like a 2 stroke engine, kinda.
Turbos are the most efficient, and of course, most costly.

will 700 you think I can do 9s? i was using a HP calculator for an 05gt and it was putting 10.9 at around 685 rwhp so if I can get 800 in the engine i think i can do it but 9s would be pimp. Why are turbos better though? I thought that a supercharger would give the most power even though its taking some from the crank. Turbo lag + the limitations make them worse from everything i read dollar for dollar

I'm no quarter mile expert and no mechanic. Just know some basics.
If you talk to a engine builder, he will say that turbos delivers more power but touchy and must betuned perfectly.
Top fuel are the fastest thing on the planet with a big blower, so at one point, supercharger become more efficient.
As far as your time with horsepower, you'll have to put together a bunch of factors to have every single hp down to the wheels. Of course, weight is your worse enemy.
There are a few successfull people on the forum that deserve a lot of credit for taking a S197 in the 10s, daily drivers too (V8 and V6)
Let's face it, the S197 is quite heavy, so it's a great accomplishment.
