Default roush 427r

when i was coming home i saw one of my neighbors bought a vista roush 427r and i was wondering what it would take to beat it. online it says 0-60 is 4.7 and the 1/4 mile is 13.3 @ 107. i dunno if thats right or not but that seems pretty horrible for a car that cost 50 grand with a full suspension and supercharger. juss wondering if those are the right times. cause i all i would need is 2500bucks in mods and i should be runnin high 12s.

It is bad for a car that is 50k. But on a track it runs circles around the50k GT500 Shelby(if you can get one for that price now).

I would think he'd be putting down 370-380 rwhp stock. Seems like that car should be in the mid/high 12s withsome practice. The trap speed indicates to me that the 13.3 may be traction limited.

Be interesting to see a race between a full bolt on (N/A) GT and a '427' (I use quotes becauseof my objection to guys like Roush misusing the 427 badging). I think you'd have your hands full if the neighbor can drive.

CAI/Tune, Wheels/Tires, 4.10s, driveshaft and you'll be closer. A little N20 would put him away.

well i really wanted too i would go out and buy C&L cai or JLT cai, with a custom dyno tune from realspeed, borla exhaust and o/r x, short throw shifter, some delete plates and a spydershaft for under 2500 or spend and extra grand and the saleen watts link suspension, and have a fun weekend lol. but i like my stock for now.
