transmission noise getting worse
Hey guys, I have an 07 mustang with only 700 miles on it, and i think the tranny might be going out already?! Heres some of the recent developments:
1. Noise from the transmission when in neutral, at a stop, clutch pedal out. Everybody has it, and so do I. However, now all of a sudden
it is worringly louder. It chatters pretty loudly at stoplights, and I dont think its normal.
2. The transmission was always noisy, but now theres a new chattering/grinding kinda noise when accelerating that wasnt
there before. Its kinda hard to notice, but it's definitly there, especially in 4th. It is a clicking/"jackhammer in the distance" kind of noise.
I'm taking it in on thursday, but I would like to know what you guys think, just in case the dealer tries to tell me its normal. Should I believe them?
The last thing I want is to drive it for say another 10k miles and have the tranny go out, then have the dealer claim I abused my car and refuse service.
