Hey guys.... Sorry but all this info is overwhelming. lol. It might take a day or so before i get to all of you. But i will. Also im sure the newer ones being built will come with the revised tank. But the TSB doesnt give dates to work with. But im gonna say yes the new ones are going to be ok. If not, then just PM me later and i will send it to you.

Not sure on my build dat, but the car came off the truck at the dealership on 2-3-2005. I pM'd my info to you casper. Thanks alot. I will keep driving mine for a while before I take it in. Just a pain in the a$$ once a week at fill-up time.
So, is this like a venting problem ?? Presure builds in the tank during fill-up, pump kicks off??

Just wanted to say "Thanx Casper", for posting the TSB's here. I searched back and found where u listed them by # and took them with me to dealership. New Shaker 500 and Gas Tank are on the way. Was told that engineers at Ford are still working on fix for the Floor Vent.

I spoke with a guy named Bob at Perry Ford here in San Diego and he said the following regarding the gas tank problem: "Newer gas pumps (e.g., from Chevron) have a more narrow filling line; couple that with the more narrow pipe heading to the gas tank in the GT and there you go. He said that if the gas pumps were older, he felt there should be no problem. Does this jive with people's experience?
