which brand for hood scoop
i am in the market for a hood scoop and was curious what type to get
my first though was roush but i am afraid to drill my hood
however i checked out the xenon scoops and it appears there is no drilling involved (please correct me if i am wrong) but i fear with the speeds i drive 3"m tape wont be enough to hold it down

What color is your car?
I'm sure you'll get lot's of input on this. Everyone has an opinion. I got a Roush because I liked the way it looked. I found a place that would install it for $125 - they had never done it before but the instructions from Roush are pretty straightforward - the drillijng seems like the hardest part but Roush has a good template. I hear you about drilling the hood though - I got it painted from Roush and it is still sitting in the original packaging in my office at home.
I have gotten great advice on this forum - especially from 157db - he could wite a book on Roush hood scoop install tips and tweaks Most people on here did it themselves.
My friend got one - painted and new - on this forum for $180 and I am now waiting for him to get ready to help him do his and maybe save the $125 for install on mine - but always a consideration still to have it done by a body shop.
Good Luck.
