Default Anyone have Cervinis 4" cowl?

I'm looking at buying the cervinis 4" cowl hood cause I think it looks mean. But I'm looking for someone who owns one to give me an opinion on it. Is it too tall? Do you like the look. Also looking for opinions about the 2" cowl as well. I'm torn between the two. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

A couple guys on here do. In my opinion, and coming from a cowl lover, the big cowls just don't look good on these cars at all. I wonder why they don't make them wider than they are? It would look better, like the stock cowl's width.

I agree that they are two narrow. but I'm still stuck on getting one. You don't happen to have any pics of cars with them on besides what's on cervinis website?

I prefer the 2 or 2.5 inch version, 4" is a little too much IMO.

i bought my 05 with the seibon cowl hood on it. I believe its 3.5 or a 4" hood. It is alittle much especially going over hills you really gotta lean forward but i def like it.. looks nice IMO.

A Friend has the 2.5" cowl on his fox. He had the 4" cowl but it was just to much hight, it blocked alot of view.. Take a 2x4 peice of lumber about 2ft long and lay it across the top of the hood right at the windshield with the 4" side up and the 2"side on the hood.. This will give you an Idea of how much view you will lose out of your winshield. It's not accurate but it will give you an idea.

Yep...mines a 4 inch. The 2 inch was not available at time of purchase. If it had been, probably would have gone with 2 or 2.5 inch, whatever it is? No problems driving... right hand turns at intersections are a little tricky because the right curb is hidden from view by the cowl. Also it's really aggressive looking...maybe too much. It's not very subtle or tasteful. My girlfriend complains because all she can see are the tops of trees and the occasional light aircraft. I have promised to paint a country scene on her side of the windshield (but haven't got around to it yet). Hope the pics help you make a decision. Overall, I think it's too big.
