Default Easy 4 HP

Don't know if you guys know it or not but I was reading in mustang enthusiast mag and saw that by removing the mesh inside the intake air ducting will give you 4 hp at the wheels. You guys should give it a try. Doubt you'll feel it but just to let you know.

I read that filter is an emissions filter, and its designed to capture the spent gases escaping from the intake when it isn't running.

what like power robbing smog pump, cats, and other emissions equipment. What's nice about KS is that we dont have smog checks so all of that crap comes off. Air, fuel, and spark thats all you need.

I heard you need to get re-tune afterwards because it will effect your timing. If not it may possibly run worse.

It's called a hydrocarbon trap and removing it is part of a typical CAI install. I would suggest removing it at the same time as the CAI install and re-flash with the CAI tune.
