od when it's cold

Default od when it's cold

does anyone know why the autos don't shift into od until the car warms up? if i'm doing 45mph and the temp is in the normal range it shifts into od but ifthe temp is below the normal range it doesn't.any ideas why?

I have never noticed this, I will take note next time I have a cold start, I don't think its normal but maybe it is.

Yes. Most cars will do this when cold. It is still warming up.

my other car does it too. its a jeep but so did the buick before that.
