Default off road H with GTA's

is anyone running this set up or have in the past?? i have gta's now with the stock h pipe and was wanting to switch to off road. any pros/cons?? i love the sound of the gta's a lot, but was wanting a bit louder. i can handle some drone, but don't want a lot. also was worried about trumpeting if that's an issue. what do ya'll think??

thanks in advance guys!!

A friend on the TMS forums had that setup, here's his clip;

No drone he noticed, a little 'raspy' in person, I'm not sure if he had any trumpeting or not.
Quite a bit louder from the stock H IMO.

it's a sh!tload louder than the stock H, lol. i had the setup and got rid of it.

it also trumpets and sounds like a machine gun at WOT after they've broken in.

I no longer run catless; these cars just don't sound as good as the previous stangs. [&:]

I have the O/R H pipe with the Bassani SS axlebacks and it was a lil too much...added some 18" magnaflow resonators (glasspacks) and still is loud but a lil bit more 'refined'

I went from the GTA's to the Pypes mid-muffler system myself. It's louder, but the tone has changed. The GTA's actually had a deeper sound IMO. I'm liking the mid-mufflers, not bad at all. It's not so loud that I set off car alarms, but quite a bit louder over stock. I'm still running the stock cats & H-pipe. I made a short clip that has a start-up, drive by, cruise with windows down & up;

Funny how these cars sound radically different than the 2 valves. I was next toan 00-04 today and we were both revving the engines and taking off from stop. He prob had flows and I have a full JBA long tube, cat h-pipe and axle back so that make some diff with the flows hollow pitch. The 2 valve definitely sounds more old school deep. These 3-valves just sound more race car like. Higher pitch for sure but more high-perf sound I think.
