ok so i have another problem/question. when i start it up i will be sitting there putting on seat belt ect. and all the sudden i hear a loud pop, which sounds like it came from under the clutch pedal, and i havent touched any of the pedals since i started the car. any one else experience this, if so wtf is it.

 

You have to push the clutch pedal in before you can start the manual. Maybe it is not coming all the way back and sticking. The vibration from the engine loosens it and that "pop" sound is the pedal finishing the travel back to the "unpressed" position. Just a thought. I could be wrong.

 

I've had this happen occasionally too but I have an automatic. It sounds like it comes from under the car.

clutch return spring binding up then
popping back
