found an 07 gt, close to pulling the trigger
i found a satin silver gt premium in mobile. black interior, leather, interior upgrade, appearance package, shaker sound, auto. 17 inch bullits. its pretty much loaded except for the autodimming mirror. it has 14k miles, which kinda scares me a bit.
price is $21950. is that a good deal? i think i can squeeze them to $21000 even.

Ooooh, that's a lot of miles. prob put on the car by demo idiots. I'd be afraid, very afraid. I don't trust any sports car unless it's delivered to me with less than 100 miles. JMO...

well its not brand new. hell the 07s did come out at the end of 06, so it could be technically a year old. i will look at the build date when i go test drive it. if it sold in nov of 06 14k miles would be about average. i just dont know technically how old it is. it is at a bmw dealership fyi....

+1. Look at the build date. I got my 07 in early October 2006. I could see putting 14,000 miles on a car in a little over a year if it was a daily driver.

Maybe it's just me, but I would NEVER buy a sports car used. It IS a good deal for a loaded 07' but you never know how that cars been treated over those 14k mile and if it's at a BMW dealership that would raise HUGE FLAGS for me. BMW dealership used car shops are the most deviant people in the world

Hell, if your heart is set, tell them you would like to bring it somewhere for a few days to do a "leakdown" compression test and to make sure there are no weird noises,etc coming from the car. $21k IS a good deal on a loaded 07'. I paid $27.5 for mine albeit w/ 7miles on it. If they will let you have it inspected by a 3rd party thats a good sign. Let them know you are serious and need to use the car for a few days. Most dedicated salepeople will let you. I'm just really apprehensive when purchasing a used sports car.

Rubrignitz, good point. Thinking about the BMW dealership near me, I don't think I wouldEVER buy a used car from them. I just got a bad feeling everytime I looked at a car there.

all used car dealerships are the most deviant places in the world[8D]you got me curious now so i called the saleslady and she is gonna find the build date out for me. it should be on the stickerin the doorjam right?
