Probably so but someone wanted to do it and well here it is.
Cant find the Original Post because of the "broken" search feature.
If someone wants to do it to his GT by god he paid for it and should
be allowed to do as he wills. But it is still false badging as you question.
The SHELBY letters are sold seperatly as well as in the kit so they
probably need to be installed. Just dont install them and have a neat
expensive different than everyone else false shelby style grill. The semi
shelby front end look without the inital investment in a shelby.?.?.?.

Or just don't put the shelby lettering on. It come without the lettering attached. In my mind it is nothing different then all the GT500 converstions without the badges...... just my $.02

does that not even include the front fascia because it says "works with GT front fascia" ....looking at the individual priceson the parts it says it includes then it makes sense for it to include the front fascia

No it does not include the Fascia but the "kit" will work on the OEM GT Fascia as well.
Shelby on the boxmeans $$ to obtain.

ok so its 159.95 for the grille insert...209 for the PIAA lights and 49.95 for the shelby letters....and even if it includes the 19.95 grille backing plate......all that equals around 440.00....so why does the package cost 230 more than that .....thats why i thought it was a package deal that included the front fascia

There are two different grills, one for the CS6 and V6 and a seperate grill for the GT and GT/CS.....so the pieces that are listed seperately fit the CS or V^ only and the kit is for the GT and GT/CS only

Sounds to me like its a pre-setup done by them that will fit right into the GT fascia, so it costs a little more than buying the components seperately, and DOES NOT include the fascia.

Either way, its all lame. Get a rousch front it looks better.
