RE: problem drivin the stick stang
Dude you don't need to slip the clutch. You should be able to take off without even reving up the motor. Go to an empty parking lot and try. Once you figure it out it will be a lot smoother. just let the clutch out easy then start to apply the throttle. Remember you have 300 horses and 320 ft/lbs of torque. You don't have to rev it up to get it to move.

so how do i go about not jerking so much? I mean i try to slip the)(&% out of it to stay smooth and i accelerate smoothly then as my foot finally comes off the pedal ever so lightly it catches and jerks.

obviously i dont rev it up to 3000 and slip it out, im talking about slipping it out with barely any throttle. i drove my 89 ranger from 15 to age 20 and drive it as smooth as an 89 truck can drive. but i cant drive my brand new mnustang for ****. anyways, i can take off without using the gas at all but that doesnt work for anything except driving like 2 miles an hour with no intention to go above 6 mph.

ok guys, i know how to drive a stick i learned like everyone in an empty parking lot. Im sayin im just wondering why my old truck is such a better ride than my brand new sports car. When im going from a stoplight or something, it just seems much jerkier than what im used to.

just floor it....let the clutch out as fast as you can......there will only be one long jerk then....not 2
