Default Suspension Suggestions/Help

I recently did my CAI/Tune and LCAs. I'm looking to upgrade my suspension more because I want better handling. I don't want to lower my car. What can I install that will improve handling and traction?

I suggest the following, in order of importance:

The first thing you NEED to do for better traction and handling is upgrade your tires, wheels too, if necessary, to accomodate those new tires.
After that I'd go with D-Specs, or Bilstein HD Shocks/Struts.
Next would be a stiffer rear sway bar.
Aftert that a Panhard bar with poly ends and brace.
Lastly aUCA.

That should do it for now.

Go to the following thread and read the post by "F1Fan"https://mustangforums.com/m_934501/mpage_12/key_/tm.htm

He addresses this very issue - how to make a great handling car that is not lowered. Its pretty much the last word on suspension and handling with the S197 platform, 99% of us couldn't add anything more.

tires..........tires.........tires....all the mods are in vein unless you have tires that stick. cornering g force is as exciting as launching hard. just dont slam into a curb. i just wasted a wheel/tire/bearing and axle drifting into a curb and it cost me hundreds to repair. glad i can do my own work!
