Default Accident @ 20mph in a parking lot

I was the only one involved, from our best guess, it seems as if the sidewall of the factory BFG's collapsed, i rode rim around a corner until it shredded and crinkled the fender and ended uup tearing off my passenger side rocker panel. i'll have more detail and photos in the morning.

Well I have been in the auto biz for 20 years. I have never seen a sidewall justcollapse. My guess is that you were low on pressure and did not realize. Going around the turn and the weight of the carmade the tire break the bead.
Still sux. Sorry bro.

your tire blew out and then you didn't realize it until it shredded enough to crinkle a fender and tear a rocker panel off....all in a parking lot going 20 mph??

That must have been one defective tire then; taking a turn at ONLY 20 mph in a school parking lot. The rims you have must have rode so smooth that you couldn't even tell you were grinding metal. Where can I get some bling bling like that?

same here. Story still sounds fishy. So much damage just going 15-20mph? Hell, guys running from the cops ride on just rims at 60+ mph for miles before anything actually broke.

Yeah, the whole story is not being told imo. 18 years working for Goodyear and have yet to see or hear anything like that.
