Default Sumthin' aint right...

Hey, I've had my Brenspeed 93 tune and a JLT II cold air intakeinstalled for a few months now and haven't had any problems until recently. I go to school in the Chicago area and live in Southern Illinois. Whenever I am driving home I usually set the car on cruise controle unless I'm in heavy traffic. However, whenever I take the cruise control off and try to really get on it my engine just starts to rev. over and over again. This also happens if I get off at an exit to get gas...for instance I got off for gas and was sitting at a stoplight...I BARLEY touched the gas and my car reved extremley high and the front end lifted up...wouldnt really have a problem with this except after it revs up it's like the engine just shuts down and then revs againhaha...the guy next to me thought I was trying to race and I looked like a jackass...any suggestions on what I should do? Is it just the cruise controle messin around with the tune for some reason or what?

Call Brenspeed and they will help you trouble shoot your problem.

possible issues:

throttle body (may need cleaning)
fuel pump (check out the TSB)

You didn't attempt that throttle lag fix on the gas pedal box did you? I was wondering whether that was a good idea or not......

Your throttle body/TPS sensormay be going bad... I have a rough idle problem, and sometimes I get RPM surges, and I've done everything to cure it except buy a new throttle body/TPS sensor (its all one piece).

I believe mine is bad too.
