3.73?

RE: 3.73?
If you have 3.55's, you'll kick yourself for getting 3.73's instead of the 4.10's.
You'd quickly get used to the pull of the 3.73 gear.
3.90's sound like a decent compromise, but they aren't the American made FRPP gears.
They are the Motive Italian gears.
Many have had problems, but some swear by them.
On the other hand, I've never heard a complaint regarding the quality of the american FRPP gears.
I have the FRPP 4.10's, with an A at the end of the part number. American ftw.
As other's have said before me: Don't fear the gear.

RE: 3.73?
3.73's are great for supercharged applications as 3.90's and 4.10 would make it near impossible for the tires not to spin! 3.90's might be a good choice for you if you are looking for a happy medium for your N/A stang.

The way things are going right now , I would think, , going to 3.73 Gears, , would be agood choice , as compared to say 4.10 , or 4.30 Gears. But that's just my opinion .

RE: 3.73?
I filled my car up yesterday and I have driven it easyto work and around town and I have averaged 23 miles per gallon. Just wish I could restrain on a daily basic since I'm paying 3:10 a gallon. By the way that's cheap compare to most states.

RE: 3.73?
People who have an Apples to Apples comparison give him some useful information. ie Not stock + 3.55 vs Tune, CAI, Exhaust, 20's + 4.10.
Something like....
With 3.55's I got 28 mpg and with 4.10's I get 25 mpg at a steady 75 mph.
With 3.55's I got 19 mpg and with 4.10's I get 20 mpg in town if i keep my foot out of it.
