I have read more than a few posts on here about the shaker 500 being a piece of S***. I probably do not want to change until my warranty expires, because Ford can keep giving me new radios as I need them. My question is.....my Shaker 500 does not have the Sirius installed into the radio for access by the aux button. I have a sat radio that I installed but I thought it would be better to run it through the shaker and do away with my extra unit. Should I just leave what I have alone and not change anything or change it? If I should change it, is there an adapter that can make the Sirius run through my radio on the Aux button that is easy to install and doesn't cost an arm and a leg?I appreciate any info you could give me.

I am the happy new owner ofa 2007 Mustang GT Premium that is Windveil Blue withheated black leather seats. I have not made any upgrades yet except a K&Nair filter. I have only had the car1 - 1/2 weeks so I am still researching and trying to figure out how to upgrade to stay within my budget. I will post pics as I get them.

 

i would have ford put the sirius in. if not, you won't be getting anymore new ones should something go wrong. you'll get the "You changed it from factory, go to the people who changed it to get it fixed."
