just my .02 cents,

I have it on mine,and the honeymoon lasted a while,
but, like 'fairlane292' said,its weird looking at a blue speedo and tach,
andeverything else is green.
Writers have said the gauges are "Falcon-like", I went back to green.

They would have been fun back in the acid days tho'
Oh well, enjoy the ride...........

The ability to change out the colors is cool yes and a bit on the "hey look what I have" side....But thats not the reasoning behind wanting it. I really want the message center and those 2other gauges

I don’t know why you guys have such a hard-on for my color, it isn’t anything special.
I have my set to as close to windviel blue as I could get it and that is where it stays.
Who cares if the gauges don’t match the stereo color, why would anyone let something that trivial bother them?

The more important feature to me is the message center.
It is awesome for keeping track of gas mileage, average speed, etc.

My '08 came with My Color, and I leave it on blue as that is the one I like the best. Other than that, it was just a novelty when new to show everybody on my new car. The info center is the better deal. Another novelty is the Ambient lighting. Cupholder and footwell lights that are color controlled. Don't use that at all.

I think you guys are missing the point. It's not about being able to change the colors over and over again, the nice thing is just having the flexibility to set it to whatever you want and not being stuck with whater the factory decided. Plus if you change something and want the dash to match, you can. I set mine to blue to match all my other gauges (5 of them) and I just leave it there too. If I didn't have the my color, I'd have that nasty green to go with my blue gauges. As far as the other green, I have a Pioneer headunit that has a blue background, I leave the info center off unless I want to see something and don't recall much other green, certainly not enough to bother me. -Joe

Buy an aeroforce gauge for $240. It will not only give you mpg, but it will read trouble codes and give you coolant temp along with a slew of other info. You'll have to install an oil pressure sending unit for the gauge to display oil pressure, but it will be much more useful than the stock gauge. I wouldn't waste my money on my color.
