Shaker Head Replacement?

My son is picking up his V6 next week. He wants to replace the delphi head with a pioneer. Is it any easier to replace the '05 system than it was on my '03?

I haven't pulled my shaker 500 out. Haven't had any problems yet. Others have said its a quick replace at the dealerships.
