Default It Can Be done! 13.4 1/4 mile bone stock

So i went to the track for the first time this past sunday with the only mods being an SLP loudmouth AB. (which if anything would give me less power) and thanks to the member that posted all the tips about the Tire pressures and such i was able to run the following.

1rst run: 13.758
2nd run: 13.420
3rd run: 13.428

Weather was perfect! like mid 40's no humidity.

if i hooked up better i bet i could hit 13.3's no problem. prob. even 13.2 with perfect everything. lol. So to all the confused souls out there with S197 Stock GT's.....it can be done! ive never raced the car before and ive never raced on a 1/4 track and never raced a RWD car either. Freakin LED lights though to quick for me. R/T's were only like .333's

SLIPS: (car number was 9302) i raced Banka87 in his V6 stang and a spoon civic twice.

No $h!t! Like I always tell people, I need to invest in a "better driver mod" before I'd ever be able to do anything like that.

CONGRATS!!!

good job. my best is 13.22 1/4 it was about 65 degrees out . Never ran it in the 40's. temp really effects these cars. I do have a few small mods on mine though.

60's? My Pirellisget worse at anything below 29RR/31LR.

Nice runs man!

PSI just did a little math. Density Altitude was likely around1000' BELOW Sea Level. That is some seriously good air.

Actually, as a follow-up to my smartass comment before...

Did you powershift? I'm assuming you did, but through how many of the gears? And do you know what RPMs (approx.) you were at when you did?

Sorry, but I'm always curious about the whole powershifting thing.
Thanks!
