Default Underdrive Pulleys

Do underdrive pulleys add any performance or are they all hype? The logic makes sense but, I have read mixed feelings from people. I know that on my previous car (this is my first stang) the performance gain from pulleys was marginal, if at best. Basicially, I was looking at purchasing Steeda pulleys for the stang, but am hesistant to pull the trigger.

What are your opinions?

Thanks.

+1 It's a great mod, you put anywhere from 6-11 HP to the rear wheels. And the engine rev's a bit quicker in my opinion.

Maybe an average gain of 6-7 rwhp.I wanted to add to my gt also but I was a little worried about the install. I doubt you'd feel any gains, but they'd produce a higher number. A decent price if the gains are true.

I dont know if i would reccomend them or not, looking at my mods, you see all of them together picked up say 44 HP at best if my baseline was around 260 HP, and that is a pretty reasonable number. So CAI's are worth 25, and that means I got 19 HP from an O/R Pipe, CMCVs, and UDPs, so all three of those netted me about 6 HP each. So, i dunno. Depends, I was hoping for more out of my mods, but who isnt right
