I get between 18.8 - 19.8 and I'm a leadfoot. 40% city, 60% hwy.

I think the term city driving is subjective. I've had jobs where I drove several miles and had very few stop lights. Now I can't get over 40mph and there's a stop light every other block.

Well, I actually feel pretty good about the ultra poor mileage. Both my wife and I had Honda Civic's a year ago.

Hers went first with the 07 GT, she typically gets 18mpg with a light foot in city.

I traded in my civic for an 04 single cab Hemi Ram, I almost each time get 12.5mpg.

Its kinda liberating from those cars. I will never sacrifice power for good mileage again.

If nothing else I have a Vstar motorcycle that gets around 45mpg, if I get the gas blues I just ride for a few days.

I think there's also something with the ethanol in the fuel. If your state/gas station has higher ethanol, you should see lower mpg's.

Drivingaround town I get 20 mpg. On the highway at 70 with the cruiseon I get 27-28.
