Default will Rotors fix our mushy brakes?

hey guys.. i was wondering if rotors alone would fix our mushy brakes, or would i need pads to go along with em?

i remember lookin at rotor pros and they sent me a price ate liek 230 for all four rotors drilled/slotted, any pattern..

just wondering..

Pads and Rotors are the culprits. The calipers aren't anything special but certainly good enough.

no, pads alone will be a bigger difference, rotors, calipers, pads, ss brake lines, fluid would be complete and best upgrade

i never really noticed any added noise.....for the first 50-100 miles there was some small squealling and the pads seated with the rotors.....but I have 1500 or so on the pads and have not noticed anything since then.

get some lube for that squeeking.. or atleast next time.. it will prevent that..

but thanks for the input guys... i will never spend 2000+ on a brake upgrade unless im making 1000hp..

i hate how much brake kits cost.. but new pads and rotors are in teh ball park which is around 3-400.. so not too bad.. what are hawks going for these days

I'd think that quality pads & s.s. lines with hi performance(abs compatible) brake fluid would yield the best results for a daily driven mild to moderately modded S197. I'm going with EBC RedStuff pads as soon as the pads need changing(and the s.s. lines & Dot 5 brake fluid). As long as your stock rotors aren't warped, don't change them, but for around $240(for the Granatelli slotted rotors) a set, it won't break the bank either.
