Default I need XCAL11 HELP

I just received an updated tune from Brenspeed and loaded it onto My XCAL11 with a lot of help from Brent (what a great guy Brent is )
Now I am ready to load it into the car ,but I still have a few Questions, and Brenspeed is closed for the weekend.
When I start to load it, and I get to the part where the XCALL11 says 'ready to program',and the factory tune is saved to the XCALL, what do I do?
Because my factory tune is allready in the XCAL .
My car currently has my old Brenspeed tune in it , and I am replacing the old brenspeed tune with an updated one.
Help an old guy out.
Thanks, Jeff

I just loaded some new tunes into my XCAL ... but to be safe I set it the car back to stock before I hooked the XCAL up to my PC and did any programming. I would set it back to stock first just to make sure everything is OK ... then load your custom tune. However, there is no reason to actually set it back to stock between switching custom tunes.

Better be safe than sorry. I would go back to factory tune before loading the new tune. But I think you can just overerite the actual tune with the new one, like if yous are going to another of the 3 tune loaded in the Xcal.

I hope it help

Thanks for the help.
How do You bypass the part where the tuner uploads the factory tune.
Brent talked me through loading the upgraded tune from email, to the xcal, and said to just leave the factory tune in the programmer. He said to just replace my current brenspeed tune with the new tune, but I dont know how to bypass the uploading of the factory tune that the xcal does automatically.
If I start the program to the car, will the stored stock tune be erased or replaced by the old brenspeed tune as it trys to upload it to the xcal ,before loading the upgraded tune.
boy am I confused, anybody got any tylenol

When you go from one custom tune to another, you don't need to reload the stock tune. Just plug the tuner in and when it asks, choose the other tune you want. The tuner will erase the existing tune and download the tune you selected.

Thanks
OK I understand the part where I choose a tune to load, but before the xcal loads that selected tune, it says"Ready to program" and it automatically begins to upload the factory tune before it starts to download that selected tune.
I am afraid that it will upload my old brenspeed tune, and erase the factory tune that is stored allready.
Am I thinking this all wrong.

Don't worry, you won't loose the factory tune.
