NEW MODS ADDED
Well after several weekends I have completed a few mods on my '05. I added a Hurst Shifter, American Thunder Axle Backs, GT500 Spoiler, and fixed a few problems with my tape stripe (not fun at all...I have complete respect for people who can tape stripe well...) The Hurst Shifter was very easy...I had a helped lower the shifter in and it took maybe 45 mins total....no need to drop the drive shaft at all....would have gone faster if I had some rachetting open ends...The Flowmasters were very easy as well...just unbolt the old and bolt on the new...it's really that simple....some better open ends would have helped here but not a must....I got the GT500 spoiler from the "Spoiler Store" on E-Bay...very happy with the paint match and shipping...very timely....only about 5 days total....The install was all very easy...3M tape covers the two holes that aren't used....I did not drill the other two holes....My logic was....If Iever want to go back to the stock style...orifI sell the car one day and that person wants it stock...it would have two extra holes in it...also it is very secure with two screws and 3M tape....but I have blue tape stripes so I spent almost four hoursputting the stripes onthis spoiler....IT SUCKED....I re did it twice because of bubbles....I went to a local sign shop who does a lot of vehicle wraps...and he had some bulk 3M blue that was a dead on match to what was on my car so he cut me some strips andI went from there....because it was such a small area I did not even use the water and soap mix...just cleaned it real good with alcohol and striped it with no transfer tape...also had some tears on my front bumper because of the road trash and what not...SoI cut out the bad and patched it up and really took my time and it looks great....very tuff to stipe around corners like what are on our bumpers....I've been waiting 4 weeks now for a 3D carbon eleanor grill to come in...still waiting...but here are some pics....getting the BBK brenspeed combo this week....should be sweet....man this thing is a money pit!
Thanks... I can't Imagine doing the super stripe....like yours... i would go insane...I did mine in two pieces per stripe...So there is a seem just after the curve...this is the way the GT500 spoilers came from the factory...Much easier to do...I saw one in a show room and looked it over and that was the best thing I took from it...the front bumper was also done in two pieces...
