Default CAI + tune = Wow!

Just got back from test driving my car after installing a Steeda CAI and Brenspeed 93 performance tune. All I can say is AWESOME! I went out to the freeway and pulled over on the shoulder. When traffic allowed, I went WOT. I have an automatic, BTW. I peeled rubber in 1st and 2nd, and scratched 3rd. Mercy! Talk about waking it up!

Then, I went to my favorite stretch of road to test gas mileage on. Now, it's about 5 miles long, mixed hilly and flat, and it's higher at one end than the other. I put it on cruise control at 55 MPH and reset the MPG meter. In the uphill direction, I got 26 MPG, and in the downhill direction, 36. That's an average of 31. I've been getting about 26 on this stretch of highway. I don't know how it's going to work out under my average conditions, but that's a good early indication.

My advice: If you don't already have a CAI and tune, go to Brenspeed's web site and spend $627 for the Steeda CAI and SCT XCalibrator 2 tuner. You won't be sorry.

What took you so long...you've been here for almost a year and you are just now doing this. Just thinking of all the WOT runs you could have had

All I can say is [:-] - But it's hard to wipe the grin off my face.

Hey, anybody got an idea what I should be running 0-60 now? I don't have a really good way to time that.
