Which magazine is geared towards S197s the most? Not really into older stangs like I am the current one...

Modified Mustangs is most geared towards S197's from what I can tell. I get them all, but prefer Modified Mustangs because of the S197's. But why stop at one? There's plenty of cheap magazine websites where you can get them all from.

Mustang Enthusiast, it still has a small time feel and it isn't political

+1 get 'em all for less than the price of a gallon of gas.

I've been subscribing to MM&FF since they were a 10 issues a year mag(1988 or so) and I didn't even own a Mustang until 2005(!). I do agree with Ron that all the major mags have political ties(advertising = $) and MM&FF has definitely lost some of it's original charm, and they give RPM Outlet a three page spread[:'(](sellouts!). All mags have their audience, I would suggest, going to your local magazine retailer and just browse the different titles(won't cost you anything but maybe your time and a little gas) and do that for several months(which is what I did years ago) and see what magazine draws you back over and over and over. For me it was easily MM&FF(still is, since I like 5.0 Mustangs and enjoy reading articles about them). Although for what some members are paying for multiple titles, I think I need to investigate some more

MM&FF's is the only one I would pay for a subscript for. I also pick up Modified Mustangs every month at the local 7-Eleven. And Hot Rod and Mustang Enthusiast occasionally. I also have been known to read over Performance Auto and Sound (ricer and audio mag). Shhhhhh... don't tell anybody . The chicks in that mag are HOT!

If you buy Modified every month for $5why not get a whole year for $20 instead of tossing $40 down the toilet?

I currently subsribe to MM/FF and MM. Didn't know there was an affiliation with MM/FF and 5.0...so looks like I'm going to add another to the list.
