I only use Shell.

Noticable difference in performance.

I've used BP/Amoco about 90% of the time and have for several years. Never had a problem. When I can't get BP, I use Chevron and no probs there either.

The local BP/Amoco station is usually 10 cents a gallon less than the local Hess and Chevron ... a bonus as far as I'm concerned!

I mainly use Exxon. Considering Exxon/Mobile is the biggest in the world, I'm surprised I don't see many more responses that they use one of them on this forum. Does everyone think it's crap or do they just not have Exxons everywhere?

No BP or Shell stations in Albany, NYand I boycott Exxon/Mobil unless I absolutely can't get something else. I know all of the oil companies are making large profits. I just don't like hearing about it on the radio and TV. Itry to fillup with Sunoco whenever possible. I also try to avoid Sam's Club and other off brands.

no BP's to be found in the Houston area, lol.
What do you mean? I usually fill up at valaro. My 06 gas cap recommends it.
He means there are no BPs around Houston. BP merged with Amoco; Valero is still a separate entity.

When I find aBP station I usually buy from them cause they are cheapest, and I have had no prob with them.

Do you have many conversations with your gas cap

I have tried Costco and my car gets the pings real bad, Arco is bottomfeeder gas around here. Chevron works best for me.

I have an 06 and my gas cap says BP also. Not that it matters, but no BPs in the Buffalo area. There's a Sunoco right down the block from my house, so Sunoco 93 it is. Haven't had any issues thus far (12.5k miles)...
