coulda been much worst, i hear if you get an exhaust ticket, it's an automatic referee. Meaning you have to take the car to a referee station, and get is smogged and decible tested.

 

Exhaust tickets are always fightable unless the cop has a db meter. They can say it sounds too loud but can always be fought.
The cop must be a Chevy guy and gets tired of driving a slower car.

 

Dam Jay.... That bites, at least you guys probably handled it well... How did he end up getting all three of you guys? Did sleeper get away since his tails aren't painted?

Hey Jay, you got more pix of sleeper' louvers? Im thinking of doing them and wanted to see them done in yellow. I just noticed in a snapshot he had them. Your stripes just keep looking better everytime I look at the pix. Congrats.

So CHP pulled one of us over on the way to the show and so we all pulled off to the side to wait. We werent gonna leave anyone behind ;-). So the cop walked over to us after he finished with the first of us and told all of us to wait and not move through his megaphone speaker. Wrote each of us up. Sleeper was the 5th Automotive Dezignz car and was 15 mins behind us because he was running late after washing his car which we had assumed would make him 15 mins late; rather he ended up 30 mins earlier than us. Funny thing is, after the show we split up heading back and myself and another one of us got pulled over again but this time the cop let us go because we showed him the tickets we recieved literally a few hours earlier. Just a normal car Sunday ;-)

When I told Jon, he said it was BS that you all were getting molested by the CHP, and he told all of the parking volunteer persons to let you guys in no matter how late you arrived!
