Default Radar detector?

When i get my 05 GT I know I am going to drive it hard and fast like it is meant to be driven. So what radar detectors/scramblers are you all using? I live in washington state and all the state patrol out here use radar and lazer. Speed trap city on some of the roads I travel every day. I got a ticket for 15 over in my 93 ford ranger...

Good luck on your selection. All late model Tangs are real easy to speed in, GT's esp. I know my 05 creeps uip on triple digits real quick, sure its like 13 sec. from a standing start, but if you are cruising 50mph+, and just get in it a bit, 100 mph on its way.

I'm going with the Passport 8500 X50. Here is a link to a review of the best on the market.

Personally, only beacuse ive seen it in use,get the valentine radar detctor. Its a little pricy but if your smart youll get it off ebay for 200-300(its 400 new). It has arrows that point out the direction that the radar source is coming from and if theres a radar behind you the behind arrow will light up and if theres another radar in front the radar will actually blink in the direction of the next radar to warn you its near. and it also has a GREAT way to avoid confusiong with automatic doors which for some reason, set off radar detectors. For example when my freind drives by the malls in my area (NJ,there everywere) his radar detector goes nuts but since the detector actually displays a number of signals being picked up it was very obvious that there were not 5 cops to the left of us when i was dropped off in front of the doors. defnitaly gods gift to pissing off cops.

The Valentine One is incredible. I travel through places where you get a lot of falses. The local police love to hang out where falses are present. Having the number of sources on display lets you know if there is an "extra source" there trying to catch speeders. The extra price is there for a reason.

Best detector = V1

Radar cannot be jammed legally and the units that do so are super expensive (and constantly transmit so your detector will go ape****).

Laser can be jammed -- my recommendation is a Blinder M20.

Anybody tried the Whistler Pro-73 ?
It seemed to get good reviews online for $150 radar/laser detector.
