Default Weird electrical problem

Ok, so recently (about a week or two ago) my car did a weird thing where it shows no oil pressure, the gas guage goes to empty and the turn signals dont show up on the dash when I toggle them. I thought it might have been a one time thing and just now it did it again. I fix it by uplugging the battery and plugging it back in after a few minutes. The only thing I can think that is causing this is my ipod adapter I just put in it about a month or so ago. It is the PAC-OEM2. Anyone know if this has caused problems before with mustangs. Also what exactly is the CAN BUS system in the car? One company who had an adapter stopped saying you could use it on the new mustangs because it would mess up the CAN BUS system. Any ideas?

Is your passenger side floor board wet? There is a problem with leaking on some stangs. Mine had it and it leaks right onto a junction box[]

Wasnt wet today only during the morning. This was in the afternoon that it happened. Also what makes me think its the ipod adapter is when I press the AUX audio button it says "no aux input" and wont switch to it.

I will check that in a little and see if it is. I have to go plug back in the battery.

Didnt see any water or anything like that inside. I felt the carpet and the pad underneath too. Everything works now again after resetting it all.

It most likely is the Ipod adapter. The Bus network is one network the modules use to communicate with. Pariphreal adapters are said to also do this but I never had a problem. A circuit for the Smart junction box gets ground causing the problem. If accessable unplug he adapter and turn the car back on to see if this is the problem. You'l probably also have the brake light on also when it's messed up.

Ok so I heard back from the ipac people and they told me that the ipac-oem2 is no longer supported for Ford cars. He didnt say why he just said that it is no longer supported and has been discontinued. I am wondering if I should take out my ipod then cause I am worried about hurting my can-bus system. Anyone have any ideas?
