Electric fence charger does the trick.
Keeps dogs from peeing on your rims also.

Just got back from Ford they want $250 for the assembly and $45 for the glass and they have nothing in stock. I'm going to buy that one on ebay for the right side and I need a whole assembly for the drivers side which I'm going to get aftermarket.

They have boat loads of the mirrors on Ebay. Dr. Auto parts or Car Parts have then (link above), They want like $45 for each side. I bought a set about 6 months ago so I could sand and paint them. It allowed me to get the mirrors ready and still use the car. The mirrors are exact, and are power. Takes like 5 minutes to remove theOEM and install the replacements.

that sucks man, but i cant help but laugh at the situation as a whole, im assuming your stang is modded in some way and not just stock all around

-you park and get out
-random dude/dudeS go up to car
-"hmm lets steal something of this bad *** mustang"
-"i know!, how about the mirror glass, we'll be bad ***'s for sure"

meanwhile ignoring anything of real value...

TrunkMonkey FTW!!!

Sucks that some fartknocker would go steal the glass out of your mirror... Sorry to hear it, and makes me think that Ford needs to maybe do a little redesign on it?
